Daddy

Have I ever told you all that I have the BEST daddy in the entire world? Daddy and I have so much fun together and I love being with him! I am a little sad this week because daddy has to go away until Thursday night for a work thing. Which means I won't see him until Friday morning!! So Mommy and me are home alone with out our daddy. We miss him terribly. I miss seeing him every morning when he comes to get me out of my crib ( and lets mommy sleep in!), I miss having him throw me up in the air and I squeal with excitement, I miss watching Sportscenter with him, I miss going to get the mail with him and having our father-son talks, I miss laughing at him when he exercises, I miss getting into bed with mommy and daddy in the morning and hitting daddy's back until he pays attention to me, I miss watching Sesame Street with Daddy, I miss snuggling into the crook of his neck when I'm sleepy and most of all I just miss my daddy! Thursday can not get here soon enough! Mimi is here watching me while Mommy gets everyone packed and ready to leave for the beach on Friday....so at least I have some distraction from missing daddy! Anyways, Daddy, i love you and can't wait to see you on Thursday! Here's a few pictures of us....
Mommy was letting me watch Sportscenter this morning in your honor....I was sad to not watch it with you.But then I was so happy that Sid the Science Kid came on!

It's been far TOO long!

WOW! so much to talk about. I have been so busy that I have not been able to catch up with all of you! You know that's how summer always is... busy, busy, busy! Mom has finished her class so it's back to being just her and me again- I missed her SO much. I am beginning to get into that phase that whenever Mommy leaves the room, I cry. Mommy read in her updates about my age that this is completely normal right now and that when Mommy and I aren't together, I think of her in my head and get sad. This has been a very hard development for Mommy because she of course does not want to leave me while I'm screaming-- mwahahaha, I already have her wrapped around my little finger!
I have got lots of pictures to share this entry. Lots has been going on and of course mommy documented all of it! So I will just post a picture and explain!

Daddy, Mommy and I went to our big pool in our neighborhood! This is my new float! I had SO much fun!I have been starting to expand my food selection! This is an apple wheel- they are YUMMY! But as you can see, I am DEFINITELY a boy, I make a huge mess whenever I eat!

Memorial Day, Grandmas, and friends!

Hi All!
Seven months ago from today, Mommy and Daddy were going out on their last date night sans baby. Holy cow I'm getting so old. Who would have thought that these past seven months would have flown by! Lots has been happening here at the Leach house. We had a wonderful memorial day cook-out with all my friends and family. We brought out my new swimming pool that Mimi and Poppi got me and Avery and I went for a little swim. I LOVED it!

Avery was obviously trying to strangle me...

The other day, my girlfriend came over and we had a quick playdate. Mommy and my girlfriends mommy, Ms. Liz, drink coffee and gab while Madelyn ( my girlfriend) and I play together. She is a little older than me but she can't resist my sexiness obviously. She's so pretty isn't she? I have such good taste. ( I was showing her how to work my toy-- what would she do without me?)

Mimi has been here for the past few days to babysit me while mommy is in class. We have been having so much fun and I think that we should have Grandma Garth or Mimi be here ALL the time! Grandma Garth watched me the other day but I was just majorly in a cranky mood so hopefully she will come back and play again soon. Anyways, Mimi took me out in my pool and I had SO much FUN!
